Reverend Amy Hutchison

Rev. Amy Hutchison was called to ministry in 2009 after serving for 7 years in nonprofit resource development. She heard the call from God on her life while serving at a Christian concert. Her passion for music and seeing all grow in their faith came together in one night in this call.

Rev. Amy is a 2004 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a 2013 graduate of the Candler School of Theology at Emory University with a Master of Divinity.

Rev. Amy is a competitive powerlifter, a National Referee, and a Club Coach with USAPL, and is passionate about the connection between our physical bodies and our spiritual lives. She lives with her dog, Macey, a Jack Russell Terrier who enjoys anything water.

ann-crousePreschool Director Ann Crouse
– I love my job!
– I taught Kindergarten at Denton Elementary School from 1976-2011
– I love children’s books

I retired from teaching Kindergarten on July 1, 2011. Friends questioned me about what I was going to do now that I was retired. My response was, “God will provide something as I am not sitting at home.” In July the preschool’s assistant job became open and then the teacher’s job. So in September 2011 I met my first class of preschoolers. Kindergarten had truly been my love and passion but preschool replaced that quickly. I love the preschoolers and their families. Preschool is truly God sent!
