As a result of suggested orders from Bishop Leland of the UMC Western North Carolina conference regarding the COVID-19 virus, Central UMC will not be conducting worship services for 2 weeks (March 15 and March 22).  Sunday Services will resume worship on March 29 with our United Methodist Women’s Sunday.

Tonight’s Confirmation Class is cancelled due to measures being taken in regard to the COVID-19 virus.

The Disciple II Bible Study Class is cancelled this evening due to measures being taken in regard to the COVID-19 virus.  

Today’s Lenten Service and Lunch is cancelled today due to measures being taken in regard to the COVID-19 virus.      

The Uwharrie District will offer a Lay Servant Training Class on Spiritual Discipline on Saturday, March 21, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  The class will be taught by Jacob Kyker at Grays Chapel UMC in Franklinville, NC.  You can register online at uwharriedistrict. org.

There will be a Lay Servant Training Class - Basic Course, on Saturday, March 21, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., at St. Stephen UMC in Lexington.  St. Stephen is located at 105 E. First Street, Lexington, NC.  The class will be taught by Bill Roberts (laity).

We are sorry to announce that Central UMC's Free Community Dinner has been cancelled due to measures taken in regard to the COVID-19 virus.  A drive-by free food bag distribution will be held at a date to be determined.  Check back for details.  We hope to see you at the next Community Dinner.

There will be a Lay Servant Training Class on Advanced Spiritual Discipline on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Gray's Chapel UMC at 5056 NC Highway 22, North Franklinville, NC., from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  The class will be taught by Rev. Jacob Kyker and the cost is $30.

As a result of suggested orders from Bishop Leland of the UMC Western North Carolina conference regarding the COVID-19 virus, Central UMC will not be conducting worship service today.  United Methodist Women’s Sunday has been postponed until a later date.  Check back for status of our Sunday Morning Worship Service.
