Central UMC Denton

A Cross Walk will take place on Thursday, March 30, beginning at noon.  The walk will start at First United Methodist Church and will end at Harrison Park.  All are invited to participate.

There will be an Easter Egg-stravaganza on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Harrison Park in downtown Denton.  The event will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m., and activities will include a cake walk and candy give-away.  Candy for give-away bags and already packaged cakes, pies, and cookies are needed, along with volunteers to help. An Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Denton Town Cemetery on Easter Morning and will begin at 7:00 a.m.  

There will be an Church Easter Egg Hunt on the church grounds Easter morning, April 1, from 9:45 until 10:30 a.m.  Candy-filled or prize-filled eggs are needed, and can be dropped off at the church before Easter Sunday.  Bring your little ones to join in.  

Easter Sunday Worship Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will include the flowering of the cross.     SaveSave

The Uwharrie District United Methodist Women will sponsor a Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Central United Methodist Church in Albemarle.  It will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the topic is "Change is Good."

There will be a lunch on Sunday, April 29, 2018, following the Sunday Morning Service (12:00 noon) in the Central UMC Hut.  It is sponsored by the Harris Sunday School Class and the Church Choir.  The meal will consist of ham with all the trimmings and homemade desserts.  Money raised will go to the South […]
