Kindle the Fire Class is for New Members or Members who are interested in Reaffirming Their Faith.  Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 2 thru Lent (1 1/2 hours) at the Church Hut in the Youth Room. The class will be taught by Cathy Ward and Bill Simon.

A study of the book "Creed" written by Adam Hamilton meets in the home of Phil and Jocelyn Giallombardo at 7:00 p.m. This group is for people who are not already in Sunday School. Call Phil G. at 336-859-5713 for more information.

The Confirmation Class meets in the Youth Room on Monday nights from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.

A small group who is meeting weekly to study the book “Bearing Fruit” by Tom Berlin. The group is working with and supporting the South Davidson Resource Center. The class meets weekly from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Church Hut.

The Noon Lenten Service will be held at First United Methodist Church. Reverend Richard Gould will speak on “The Spear”.  The offering from each service will go to support Rise Against Hunger. A soup and sandwich lunch will follow the service.

Central UMC will host a community Maundy Thursday Service at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. This service will include congregational hymns, readings, and a pastoral message by Rev. Dennis Sheppard.  It will conclude with Holy Communion offered to all in attendance.

Easter Sunday, the observance of the glory of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, will begin with an outdoor Sunrise Service in front of Central UMC at 7:00 a.m. (If there is rain, the service will be held in the church chapel.)

Children Annual Easter Egg Hunt to be held on Easter Sunday morning from 9:45 until 10:30 a.m. on Church Grounds.
