Children Annual Easter Egg Hunt to be held on Easter Sunday morning from 9:45 until 10:30 a.m. on Church Grounds.

The Easter Sunday Worship Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. instead of the usual 11:00 a.m., and will be held in Central UMC sanctuary. It will feature congregational singing, the "Flowering of the Cross," choral anthems, an Easter message from Rev. Richard Blount ("Good News of Great Joy"), and Holy Communion.

A small group who is meeting weekly to study the book “Bearing Fruit” by Tom Berlin. The group is working with and supporting the South Davidson Resource Center. The class meets weekly from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Church Hut.

The Davidson County Department of Social Services will be having office hours in Denton on the third Wednesday of each month at the Denton Town Hall. This is for anyone needing assistance in the area of Medicaid and Food Stamps.

Tickets will be on sale soon for the UMM BBQ Fundraiser. Mark your calendars for this exciting event!

The children of the church will receive a special gift from the Church Vitality Committee. Please see to it that your children and grandchildren who normally come to church are in worship to receive this gift.

The Church Trustees will have a brief meeting following the morning worship service.

All those who are interested in helping with this summer's Vacation Bible School are asked to attend this meeting.

The United Methodist Women will meet in the UMW Meeting Room.  All members are asked to bring a snack to share.  Beverages and paper goods will be supplied.
