The Church Pre-School will have graduation for the Class of 2017 in the Church Sanctuary.

Boy Scouts

Bearing Fruit Class

Central UMC (Hut) 276 W. 1st St, Denton, NC

A small group who is meeting weekly to study the book “Bearing Fruit” by Tom Berlin. The group is working with and supporting the South Davidson Resource Center. The class meets weekly from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Youth Room in the Hut.

Choir Practice

The choir meets in the Choir Room - new members are always welcome.

Early Worship Service

The Worship Service will begin at 10:00 am today to ensure that those who would like to attend Mt. Ebal Homecoming can attend both services if they so choose.  There will be no Sunday School this Sunday.

Mount Ebal Homecoming

Mount Ebal Church Mt. Ebal Church Road, Denton, NC, United States

The annual Mount Ebal Homecoming will be held at Mount Ebal Church.  Known as Mount Ebal Methodist Protestant Church, it was built in 1883 and ceased to be in regular use about 1940.  It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The service begins at 11:30 am followed by a covered dish lunch.

Choir

The choir meets in the Choir Room - new members are always welcome.  

United Methodist Men

Central UMC (Hut) 276 W. 1st St, Denton, NC

United Methodist Men meet for fellowship and breakfast in the Church Hut.  All men are invited.

Graduation Sunday

Central UMC 276 W. 1st St, Denton, NC

High School and College graduates from the Class of 2017 will be honored during the Worship Service.  Matthew Lanier and Nicholas Behrens are graduating from South Davidson High School.  Madison Sigmon is graduating from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. Central Preschoolers will also be recognized on this Special Sunday.
