The Uwharrie District will offer a Lay Servant Training Class on Transforming Evangelism on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  The course will be taught by Rev. Josh Kurtz at Jordan Memorial UMC in Ramseur, NC.  You can register online at uwharriedistrict.org.

  Children's Worship Service is held in the downstairs Sunday School Room following Children's Time in the sanctuary.    

We will take down the Christmas Decoration immediately following the worship service.  Many hands make this task go very quickly so please plan on staying to help out.

Confirmation Class meets at 6:00 p.m. in the Church Hut Youth Room.

Safe Sanctuary Training will take place on Monday, January 13, 2020, at 6:30 p.m.  This is a repeat of the previous class and is being held for those who could not attend.

Worship Service this Sunday will include congregational and choir singing of some of the "old time" favorite hymns, and will include a special recognition.  

The Uwharrie District will offer a Lay Servant Training Class on Worship Leadership on Sundays, January 19 and 26, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  The course will be taught by Rev. Bill Roberts at First UMC in Norwood, NC.  You can register online at uwharriedistrict.org.

There will be a Community Dinner on Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church Fellowship Hut.  The meal will include soup, sandwiches, drinks, and homemade desserts.  The dinner is FREE and is open to all of the community so invite your friends, neighbors, strangers.  Food pantry bags for […]
