Central UMC Preschool opens Tuesday, September 5 for the new school year.  This year there are 15 eager students excited to be a part of Ms. Crouse and Ms. Talbert's class!

The  September 5, 2017, meeting of the United Methodist Women will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Adalyn Nopanen, 1138 Rocky Cove Lane.  A carpool will be leaving from the church hut at 5:30 p.m.  The invitation is extended to all ladies of the church.

The Bearing Fruit Class will take a break until January 2018 due to various church events in the fall.  Stay tune for updates.

The Church Finance Committee will meet at the church hut at 6:00 p.m.

Central UMC will join the Resource Center in sponsoring a booth at the Annual Denton Street Festival that will be held in downtown Denton from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  We will give out hand sanitizer and information about Central.  Volunteers are needed throughout the day.  Please contact Cathy Ward if you can help.

Central Youth will host a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, September 9, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Church Hut.  They will also provide entertainment.  Come support our youth - and enjoy a great meal!  Why not bring a friend!

The Church Nominations Committee will meet in the church hut from 6:00 to 8;00 p.m.

A free Lunch and Learn will be held at Central United Methodist Church Hut from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.  Lunch will be served followed by a program on loneliness.  The speaker will be Rev. The United Methodist Women need packaged desserts for the Open Hands Ministry for the 3rd Monday of each month.  There is a blue bin in the downstairs kitchen for donations.
