The Girl Scouts will be hosting a sleepover in the hut on Friday, August 25, 2017.  All girls of the church who may be interested in experiencing Girl Scouts are invited to this event.  For questions, call Troop Leader Carol Boice at 252-670-4341

Reverend Sherry Barnes will deliver the message for Central's Annual Homecoming Service.  A covered dish lunch will follow in the church hut.

Central UMC Preschool opens Tuesday, September 5 for the new school year.  This year there are 15 eager students excited to be a part of Ms. Crouse and Ms. Talbert's class!

The  September 5, 2017, meeting of the United Methodist Women will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Adalyn Nopanen, 1138 Rocky Cove Lane.  A carpool will be leaving from the church hut at 5:30 p.m.  The invitation is extended to all ladies of the church.

The Bearing Fruit Class will take a break until January 2018 due to various church events in the fall.  Stay tune for updates.
