World Communion Sunday is the Sunday when Christians all over the world celebrate Holy Communion together.

In the United Methodist Church we hold Holy Communion to be a sacrament: a divine ordinance given by Christ’s command or example and filled with God’s grace. Holy Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, is a time when God calls to God’s table all who love Him. Who earnestly seek to repent of their sins and to receive the grace to stand up once more in order to follow Christ.

We at Central UMC in Denton have been blessed with a spirit of hospitality which remembers Christ came to seek and to save the lost. We are all sinners so none of us is too good to come to God’s table, and none of us is good enough to prevent others from coming to God’s table.
