The UMW Uwharrie District Annual Meeting will be held on August 26, 2017, at Pfeiffer University from 9:30 a.m. until noon (includes continental breakfast).  Please register with Ann Cook by August 20.  A carpool will be leaving from the hut at 9:00 a.m.  The topic will be “Engaging Generation Z”.  A panel discussion will include Ann Cook along with her daughter Trean Ellis, and granddaughter Isabella, who will also be featured as the entertainment soloist.  This event will be a great opportunity for new potential members to witness the missions of United Methodist Women.
