A community blood drive will be held at Central United Methodist Church Hut on Monday, June 10, 2019, from 2:00 until 6:30 p.m.  The blood drive will be held in honor of little Eliza Bray who was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February.  Eliza required multiple blood and platelet transfusions during her 17-day hospital stay.  She is currently in remission, but continues to receive treatments and will possibly need more transfusions during the next several years.  Without the blood bank at Brenner, Eliza’s recovery would not have been possible.  Please plan to give blood whenever you can, and especially on June 10 in honor of “Eliza Bray the Brave.”  The drive is sponsored by the Central United Methodist Women.
