There will be an Ash Wednesday Service at First UMC on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, beginning at noon.  Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent, and during the service the clergy will mark crosses on the foreheads of worshippers using the ashes from burnt palms.  The mark is a sign of repentance.  Reverend Richard Gould will provide the message based on “Father Forgive Them.”  Join us as we begin 40 days of Lent.  A soup and sandwich lunch will follow the service.
