On Sunday, December 15, 2019, there will be a Christmas Open Church Tour from 2:00 until    5:00 p.m.  Several churches in the community will invite the public to see their Christmas decorations, listen to seasonal music, learn the history of the church, and enjoy light refreshments.        Central UMC along with other churches in the area will be part of this event.  It is sponsored by Central United Methodist Women along with Friends of Siloam Church, and the money raised will be given to Siloam United Methodist Church.  A fire consumed Siloam UMC just before Christmas last year.  Participating churches are:  Central UMC, First UMC, Summerville Baptist, Pentecostals of Denton, Clear Springs UMC, Pleasant Grove UMC (Loftin Road), Fairview UMC, Cid UMC, Pleasant UMC (Old Highway 64).  You can make a donation at one church, receive a ticket, then visit as many churches as you like.  If you have any questions, contact Marvene Surratt at 336-859-2763.
