SUMMARY:Evening Ash Wednesday Service
DESCRIPTION:There will be an Ash Wednesday Service at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church on Wednesday\, February 22\, 2023\,  beginning at 7:00 p.m.   Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent\, and during the service the clergy will mark crosses on the foreheads of worshippers using the ashes from burnt palms.  The mark is a sign of repentance.  Pastor Amy Higgins will provide the message based on Genesis 2:7 – “Dust that Clings.”   The book used as a basis for the Lenten worship services is by Jill J. Duffield entitled “Lent in Plain Sight.”  Join us as we begin 40 days of Lent. \n
