Central UMC Denton

Central UMC has a Preschool Program for three and four year olds.  It meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 am until 11:30 am.  If you are interested or have questions, please contact the church office at 336-859-3502.

Central UMC's Food Pantry is open every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:30 until 12:00 for "Sharing God's Abundance" to those in our community.   Look for signs leading to the church entrance.  One food bag is available per family once a week.

An AA Group meets at First United Methodist Church (376 S. Main Street, Denton) each Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.  The meetings focus on the first three steps.  Enter through the lower level door on left end of the building off the parking lot behind the church.

Due to COVID19 restrictions Sunday School is currently cancelled.  Please join us at 11:00 for our outdoor church service.  Check back for updates - we hope to resume Sunday School soon.

The Davidson County Department of Social Services will be having office hours in Denton on the third Wednesday of each month at the Denton Town Hall. This is for anyone needing assistance in the area of Medicaid and Food Stamps.
